Renting out a holiday cottage in England isn’t the most wonderful sounding holiday. However after recently reading up on some of the quite lovely countryside and history, I decided to see if any of the cottages available are “high heels worthy”.
I was delighted to find a very impressive selection of luxury holiday cottages in England. And not just stale newly built modern properties, in fact most have great character as well as modern comforts inside. Below are my top 3 holiday cottage finds that I would put in the category of being high end or luxury.

The Old Chapel, The Cotswolds |
This beautiful property is my personal favourite. The interior isn’t the best in the world, although it is certainly luxurious. What I really love about The Old Chapel is the fact that it was once really an actual chapel. It features 4 bedroom and can sleep 10 so this is a good choice for a group getaway.
The Sands is the perfect holiday home for the summertime. Yes, it can be sunny in England at times. In fact, last summer had a record breaking amount of sunshine. The Sands has all the luxurious comforts you could ask for, including a beautifully designed kitchen. The Sands is actually split up into 3 apartments so this is the one for a group getaway. The views out over the sea are amazing and can be enjoyed from the rooms or the balcony.

Braunston Mill, Warwickshire |
This converted mill is like nowhere else you will ever stay. The building is a circular converted mill and no expense has been spared in any of the rooms, including 3 bedrooms. There is an outdoor hot tub and barbeque. Views of the surrounding countryside from the higher rooms are stunning. This is Shakespeare country for literary lovers and also close to The Cotswolds for nature lovers.
