Potsdam is a city about 30 minutes away from Berlin and has many beautiful palaces. All palaces are found in the Sanssouci park a short walk from the train station which is often compared to Versailles and Peterhof palace of St. Petersburg. It was originally build by Frederick the Great the king of Prussia. Inside the palaces the Rocco style can be found along with beautiful gardens/parks around.
