Everyone knows that France is known for its food and that you can find a Creperie on every corner.  Now you can make it at home and you can serve crepes for breakfast, for lunch/dinner or as a dessert.

Below is a simple crêpe recipe:

Ingredients:
  • 1 Cup of Flour
  • 3 Large Eggs
  • 2 Cups of Milk
  • 1/4 cup of Butter
Directions:
1) Mix eggs and milk, you can add sugar if you are making sweet crepes
2) Gradually add flour. Mix it until the mixture is smooth, you want to make sure there are no clumps
3) Melt butter in a Crepe pan or another pan over medium heat, and pour butter into the mixture
4) Pour in 2-3 tablespoons of batter into the pan and swirl around to make a circle or use a crepe swirling stick to spread it equally across the pan
5) After about 2-3 minutes, turn the crepe over and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes. Remove from pan and repeat until there is no more batter left. Do not worry if the first crepe or two are not perfect, there is a Russian saying, “The first Crepe is always a lump or turns into a wad”
Crepe Filling:
Sweet Crêpe : Mix Sugar, cinnamon, or maple leaf sugar with butter.
Healthy Crêpe : Add strawberries, respberries and/or bananas.
Russian Crêpe : Mix sugar with sour creme.
Breakfast Crêpe : Melt cheese and vegetables (such as mushrooms, broccoli or onions) over medium heat for about a minute or until cheese is fully melted. You can also mix cottage cheese with sugar.
Lunch/Dinner Crêpe : Mix minced beef with rice and stuff the Crepes.
