Dresden is one of the must see cities in Germany that many travellers miss. It used to be the residency of Kings of Saxony, and you can see the Zwinger Palace. The city was controversially bombed by the British and American forces towards the end of World War II and took many years to restore. The city is easily accessible by car or train and is located a couple of hours away from Prague and Berlin.
