During Victory Day Over Japan, life photographer Alfred Eisenstaedt has captured a spontaneous kiss between two strangers – a nurse and a sailor. Today, photographers all over the world can recreate that photo in colour because of a statue that is found in San Diego Harbour. It was build in 2007 by Seward Johnson with the name “Unconditional Surrender”. It can also be found in other parts of the United States, do you think it is something worth taking a photo of, a statue that was based on a photo?
