People always tend to stay at a similar type of lodging regardless of the destination. For those on budget, they always stay in a hostel and for those who love luxury, they always go for luxury hotels. However, there is a fun element of picking your temporary residence based on where you are going to be. Here are some places I stayed on my travels and what hotel I think would be perfect for:
For the luxury traveller – Four Seasons Bora Bora
For the Movie Buff: Hotel Del Coronado, San Diego, California
For the Naturalist: Sheraton Hotel, in Iguazu Falls National Park, Argentina
Luxury Spa – Hotel Pupp, Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic
For the Apres Ski Hotel: Fairmont Hotel, Banff, Canada
For a Family Vacation: All Inclusive at Veranda Hotel, Antiga
For the Business Traveller: Westin, San Francisco
Room with a View: Hotel Flam, Flam, Norway
For the Tourist: Crowne Plaza, Time Square, New York
For the Animal Lover: Thornhill Lodge, Kruger National Park, South Africa
For a Budget Traveller: Gastholf/Pension in Bavaria, Germany
For the Backpacker: Hostel in Morro, Brazil
At the end of the day it does not matter where you stay, or if travelling as a couple, family or solo. The attractions are the same for those on a small budget or who spent over $500 a night!
